Accommodation in the Victorian Pyrenees – Mount Cole Cottages
We re-opened in July following extensive damage caused by the February 2024 Mount Cole bushfires. At this stage, we are only taking bookings for Kookaburra Cottage. Cleanup of the property continues. Over 12 of the 13 acres of the property were totally burnt!
State forest and State Park have re- opened recently too.
Relax in a peaceful bush setting at the foot of Mount Cole, amidst the local wildlife and picturesque mud brick buildings. Nature surrounds with 130 species of birdlife recorded at nearby Mount Cole State forest. Together with the birds we are regularly visited by echidnas, wallabies, blue-tongue lizards and the occasional koala!
Cottages have reverse cycle air-conditioning.

Kookaburra Cottage
Eco cottage built 2017- sleeps four. Two bedrooms each with ensuite. Spacious open plan kitchen and lounge filled with natural light from the large windows. Reverse cycle air-conditioning. All linen and towels provided.
Cottage in Japan
Cottage 123 located at the popular Hakuba Goryu Snow resort in the Japanese alps. Not taking visitors at present.
